It wasn’t until my later years of life that I ever saw someone wrap their hair and explain to me that their hair was “trained”. The concept was completely foreign to me! I attempted to mirror her hair routine and could not figure out why I was not seeing the same results. It wasn’t until I began my own hair journey, I realized the importance of understanding your own hair and creating a solid hair regimen for your specific hair needs. As resilient as hair is, I quickly learned that both consistency and patience is key in hair and scalp health. I had to find the right products for my hair and find a regimen that I could sustain and yielded the results I desired! In developing my own hair products after experiencing hair loss, I see that a healthy hair regimen can regrow hair and repair scalp health. I’ve heard my whole life, that one size fits all EXCEPT when it came to hair care….but in developing my own products I found that to be untrue. When developing my products, I look to address the underlying issue instead of focusing on the diagnosis itself as I found that addressing symptoms and creating a healthy foundation yields the best results.
The Importance of Scalp Care
It’s no secret that having a healthy scalp is the secret to healthy hair. As we all age the skin on our scalps can have premature aging and cell regeneration can diminish causing hair to become thinner and possibly lose its ability to retain moisture. Having a healthy scalp is key to having healthy hair.
Hair regimen should include products with ingredients that have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which work to improve scalp condition and overall health leading to a better chance for hair growth and thickening.
Scalp's PH Levels
In order to understand the science of your hair it’s important to understand the importance of PH levels! Extreme alkaline solutions like perms or relaxers can cause the bonds between keratin protein molecules to break down and can eventually dissolve the protein completely. These type of solutions can be extremely damaging especially for fine and fragile hair.

The Difference Between Dandruff and Scalp Infections
It is extremely important when looking at hair loss and hair concerns to understand the difference between dandruff and scalp infections in order to be sure your scalp is cared for properly. Dandruff causes the scalp to flake and in some cases it may be caused by poor circulation, fungus, or a scalp infection. Some scalp disorders are also attributed to hair thinning, hair loss and hair breakage.

I’ve Antibiotics, and a liquid topical solution, I’m not sure the name because I’m not at home! I just started using you product on Monday and so far it’s good! I’m have a little soreness to touch but I’ve been experiencing this before I used your products! I will send you update pics soon as I reached 30 days! Also, do you recommend that I keep using those medications from the dermatologist or just your products only? Thank you and have a blessed evening!
