Over the past few years, inflation has steadily increased, making it more expensive to run a business while keeping product prices affordable. Instead of raising prices to cover these rising costs, I’ve been looking for smarter, more cost-effective ways to accept payments. One of the best ways to do this is by encouraging customers to pay via Zelle.
Why Paying with Zelle Helps Keep Prices Low
Every time a customer pays with a credit or debit card, the payment processor takes a percentage of the transaction as a fee. These fees add up quickly, cutting into the ability to offer discounts, promotions, and special deals like Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. By choosing to pay via Zelle instead, you help eliminate those fees, allowing me to keep prices as low as possible and continue offering great deals throughout the year.
This past Black Friday & Cyber Monday, you all were able to enjoy up to 40% off – a discount that wouldn’t have been possible if I had to account for excessive processing fees. Many of you stocked up, purchasing six to ten of the same product in a single order (which, by the way, caused some shipping delays – I might have to set a limit next year! 😭). I’m beyond grateful for your support and commitment to Sydney Nicole Products, and I want to keep these amazing deals coming for you. But to do that, we need to make sure we’re minimizing unnecessary costs where possible.
Zelle Makes It Simple
Paying via Zelle is easy and secure. You can send your payment directly through your bank’s app or the Zelle app to bhsccustomers@gmail.com with the total amount and your order number. You can also scan the QR code above ⬆️ for quick payment.
➡️ How to Pay with Zelle:
1. At checkout, select Zelle as your payment option.
2. After receiving your order number, send your payment immediately via Zelle to bhsccustomers@gmail.com with your order number included.
3. That’s it! Once your payment is received, your order will be processed.
⚠️ Important: Orders that are not paid for immediately after checkout will unfortunately have to be canceled.
Alternative Payment Options for Long-Time Customers
I understand that not everyone uses Zelle. For long-time, trusted customers, I’m also accepting personal checks and post office money orders. Here’s how that works:
• Simply write down the items you want to order.
• Mail your payment (either a personal check or post office money order) along with your order details.
• Once your payment is received, I’ll create your order and begin processing it.
This option allows even more flexibility while keeping business costs down and ensuring that I can continue offering high-quality, handmade products at fair prices.
