Having a presence on various social media platforms due to my all natural hair growth products and luxury human hair wigs and pieces, I tend to get a ton of questions about hair regimens that will increase hair growth. As some of you know, my products were originally developed to aid in my personal fight against alopecia and evolved to become a way I can help others who suffer with hair loss and just overall hair goals. As my business began to grow it made me realize that there are many people out there that have issues with hair growth that stem from medical diagnosis to just not understand their hair needs to facilitate the growth that is desired. I wanted to share some tips that can be used in conjuncture to my products to not only grow hair but also maintain that growth as well.
Let it go! Let it go!
- Many of us see our hair growing and want to hang on to every strand, we want to preserve all of our “inches”….we often call it “length”. It is important to trim ends that have split in order to protect your hair shaft and maximize growth. A good trim to cut off the split and dead ends can change the look and feel of your hair. Make sure to sealing your ends on wash day with our hair butter or oil.
Be careful with your protective styling!
- While we all love a good protective style is it imperative to understand that too much of a good thing can be dangerous. While I know we all love braids and updos, continuous wearing of these styles can eventually be harmful due to tightness and weight on both edges and other parts of the hair. While these styles are fine, just remember that taking a break so it can breathe from these style is important to your hair growth and hair health.
To color or NOT to color…..that is the question!
- Now I am not one to bash a hair transformation as I love switching it up myself, but I have to admit that coloring doesn’t just change the look of the hair……sometimes it can change the feel and texture of the hair as well. Coloring constantly can make your hair dry and brittle over time as it weakens the hair follicle which can make your hair more vulnerable to split ends that will need to be cut in the end.
Supplements
While our diets are no longer enough to get us the vitamins and nutrients we need to support we now have supplements that can aid in the process of making sure that our bodies get all the vitamins we need. When our system is malnourished, it reflects in our hair. One way to stay on top of this issue is to take a supplement/multivitamin to assure you are getting what you need in key essential hair growth vitamins such as: calcium, potassium, fiber, magnesium and vitamins A, C and E. Look at other natural supplements such as our Extra Virgin Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil, which also contains zinc and magnesium, which are two essential minerals for hair and skin care.

Don’t forget your follicles!
I cant stress enough how a healthy foundation is key but you have to remember and care for your follicle as well. Within your hair follicles, there are hair bulbs and within each hair bulb, there are cells that develop and build your hair shaft. Exfoliation, stimulation, and even hydration play a role in caring for your follicles.

What you put in….you get out!
During This Hair Growth/ Health Journey it is very important to know that if you are dealing with medical hair loss you want to be on an anti-inflammatory diet to aid in your hair growth journey. Food that aid in hair growth are foods like foods include cabbage, collards, onions, garlic, fish, peaches, olives, walnuts, almonds and sunflower seeds, its important to know what types of foods you put in your body and how they will effect its processes.

My doctor has recommended a shampoo Nizoral, using 2-3times a week. I did 2weeks of Listerine for the itching and scalp helped tremondously. Have started to change MT diet. Watch all of your videos. Can you please tell me besides the trio, which products to use. Itches very little and hardly any sore areas. I could really use your help in a regiment
